Kev’s Adventures in Kenya

Now Kev has been on another journey to Kenya with Revd Richard Hare from his church Emmanuel Church, Bridlington, and a group of volunteers from across the UK. This was Kev's first trip abroad, where he has spent two weeks volunteering at TABS International a charity that supports a small Christian Education and Community project in Kiandutu in Kenya. The charity has been running since 2007 and offers disadvantaged people from the UK the chance to work there as volunteers.

Kev and the team spent their time working in the school in Kiandutu, and on the new land. They were digging foundations and starting off the build for the new secondary classroom in the school site in Kiandutu. They were also planting trees and building the first structure on the new land which will become a vocational training centre in the future.
